HAS PHOTOGRAPHY TURNED BORING?
Back in May I went to the International Center of Photography’s Photobook Fest, in New York. Looking through the various photobooks I noticed a common theme in the images. Which, in turn, sparked an internal debate as to whether the images I was looking at were really art. Are these, which I would call boring, images really what is now regarded as work of art? Was this really what people look to when they want to see photography exhibits?

How about trying something different next time you head out to shoot some street photography. Today I did that myself and went to shoot with a 100 - 400mm lens instead of my usual 35mm. It was a great experience and something you should try as well.
